Radio Clips
A member of the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, he has interviewed dignitaries and celebrities, such as Bob Hope, Jayne Mansfield, Jimmy Hoffa, President Eisenhower and Malcolm X.
And Marge Harvey (nee Wieting) was one of the first female disc jockeys in the United States. During the 1950s, she hosted a late-night radio show on WFIL called "The Street of Dreams." She later hosted a radio show on WCAU with Ed in the 70s and then went on to host her own weekend program at WPEN in the 1980s.
Ed and Marge were ASB volunteers, lending their on-air talents to our radio station in the form of a twice-monthly radio show, focusing on a wide-range of interesting, informative and entertaining subjects. Each broadcast features a new 'mystery guest' in the form of one of Ed's archived interviews. Below are just a few audio clips of the Harvey's ASB radio shows. Click to listen.
